(More customer reviews)I compared these directly with the GE 23 watt model and slightly prefer these bulbs from Sylvania, because the light is a bit more like natural daylight (3000K Color Temp) than the slightly more yellow GE (2700K), which is more like a traditional incandescent color. There are some studies showing that natural light improves your mood, especially during the winter when there is less daylight. That may be a bit of wishful thinking, but it made me feel good to save a lot of money and use less electricity using a compact fluorescent. These fit readily into standard lamp sockets and turn on quickly. Note: it is not recommended to use any cfl bulb outdoors where exposed to the elements.
